USA City Database

With the USA Cities Database, you can get easy-to-use CSV, Microsoft Excel, and JSON files that include all of the over 32,000 cities, towns, villages, incorporated communities, and census-designated place (CDP) in the 2020 United States Decennial Census, with data also coming from a group of sources from 2020 to 2023.

The data includes the name of the populated place, state it is located in, the type of incorporated place it is, or if it is a CDP, the water area (in Square Meters), land area (in Square Meters), and population, as well as the latitude and longitude of the geographical center of the populated place.

License Agreement for US citiesDB

By purchasing this dataset, you ("Licensee") agree to the following terms:

1. License Grant:

- Elooly ("Licensor") grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the US citiesDB files for the purpose of creating derivative products.

2. Permitted Uses:

- The Licensee may incorporate the dataset into products or services for sale, provided that the dataset is not the primary value of the product.

- The dataset may be used for research, analysis, or product development.

3. Prohibited Actions:

- The Licensee may not resell, redistribute, or share the dataset in its original form, or in a way that allows it to be extracted or used independently of the Licensee's product.

- The dataset may not be included in any product where the dataset itself is the primary value or constitutes a significant portion of the product.

4. Derivative Products:

- Derivative products incorporating the dataset must add substantial value or functionality beyond the dataset itself.

- The Licensee may sell, license, or distribute derivative products, provided these products do not compete with or replicate the dataset.

5. Attribution (Optional):

- The Licensee must provide attribution to the Licensor in any public-facing materials that incorporate the dataset, where feasible.

6. Enforcement and Compliance:

- The Licensor reserves the right to audit the Licensee's use of the dataset and take appropriate legal action in case of any violation of this agreement.

7. Termination:

- This license is effective upon purchase and shall remain in force unless terminated by the Licensor due to a breach of the terms by the Licensee. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease using the dataset and destroy all copies in their possession.
